My education and outreach activities have brought me more satisfaction and enlightenment than I would have thought possible. Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors of Blue Marble Space, which I co-founded to coordinate astrobiology-related outreach and research activities all across the world. Most of my energy has gone into administrative obligations for BMS but I also implement specific activities with local communities on those occasions when the stars align. You can read about these activities in my blog posts tagged as outreach, but here is a short list of some of my recent efforts:
- Energy, Entropy and Complexity on the Prebiotic Earth, ASU Origins of Life 2017 Postdoctoral Lectureship public seminar, Tempe, AZ
- Proto-computation and Proto-life Workshop, NASA Astrobiology Institute, Harvard Origins Initiative and the Japanese Natural Intelligence Working Group
